The Pokémon Company have put out a new trailer for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!. In it we get our first look at how HMs are handled. Instead of HMs, the game takes cues from Pokémon Sun & Moon by using special techniques and partner moves to get past the original obstacles of Pokémon Yellow.
Speaking of partner moves, both Pikachu and Eevee have unique attacks they can use in battle. Pikachu’s Splishy Splash and Eevee’s Bouncy Bubble, Buzzy Buzz, and Sizzly Slide are all new exclusive battle moves. Both can also utilize their own partner power too.
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! launch for Nintendo Switch on November 16th, 2018.
