Nintendo Switch Has Sold 1.5 Million Units Worldwide

By using data from Famitsu and GFK, SuperData has reported that Nintendo has sold 1.5 million Nintendo Switch consoles in its first two weeks. This is on track with Nintendo’s estimate of selling 2 million by the end of March. It also seems like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild drove many sells with 89% (around 1.34m units) of Switch users owning a copy of the game.

It’s a definite strong start for Nintendo’s new system and it’ll be interesting to see how it progress throughout the rest of the year.
