Niantic Plans To Release Three Major Pokémon GO Updates In 2017

At a recent keynote in Barcelona, Niantic CEO John Hanke confirmed that the company has three major updates planned for Pokémon GO in 2017. Presumably these would be in addition to the Generation 2 update, although we have no idea what they will entail.

Speculation up to this point however has suggested that trading, PvP, and a revised Gym system could be the major updates in development. It’s worth noting that Niantic has commented on all of these making their way into the game at some point in the future.
