In the latest issue of Game Informer, it was revealed that Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World will have a different framerate depending on what system it is played on. New Nintendo 3DS owners will be able to run the game at 60fps, while regular Nintendo 3DS owners will run the game at 30fps.
“Though the game originally appeared on the more powerful Wii U, it runs at a smooth 60 frames-per-second on New Nintendo 3DS,” writes Brian Shea. “If you have the original 3DS, a Nintendo representative tells me the framerate drops to 30.”
Game Informer also announced that there will be an easy editor and an advanced editor for customizing your Yoshi, as well as a lack of multiplayer.
Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World launches for Nintendo 3DS on February 3rd, 2017. The new Poochy amiibo will also launch on the same day.
