Pokémon Sun & Moon may have just launched today, but Eurogamer is claiming that a third Generation 7 game is already in the works for Nintendo Switch.
Code-named “Stars”, this third version was developed alongside Sun & Moon and will feature much of the same content. Eurogamer hints that there could also be more Pokémon to find and catch in this version too.
It will supposedly run at a higher resolution with touched up textures. Eurogamer states that we’ve already seen a glimpse at this new game back in the February reveal trailer. This shot of Pikipek is apparently a model that is used in the Nintendo Switch title.
The rumor is Pokémon Stars was planned to release in Summer 2017 but is being pushed back into the holiday season. We’ll see if anything comes of this rumor in the coming months.
