Rumor: Super Smash Bros. Port Coming To Nintendo Switch Within First Six Months, Remaining Smash Amiibo Will Follow

Laura Kate Dale of Let’s Play Video Games has reported that a port of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will launch on the Nintendo Switch within the first six months of the console. The remaining Super Smash Bros. amiibo (Bayonetta, Cloud, and possibly Corrin) are said to release alongside the game. These amiibo were first announced almost one year ago during the Super Smash Bros. Final Video Presentation.

All the DLC from the original game will be available in the port from the get-go. Confirmation on new content being added to the game or support for the GameCube controller has not been given however.

Nintendo Switch will launch in March 2017.
