Nintendo Invested $527 Million For R&D During The 2015 Fiscal Year

During the 2015 fiscal year, Nintendo invested around $527 million into research and development. This is all according to market research company, Technavio, who are also reporting that Nintendo generated $5 billion during the fiscal year. This makes Nintendo one of the five top leading vendors, putting them among other well known companies such as Hillcrest Labs, LG, Samsung and SMK.

While we don’t know exactly what Nintendo is pumping their money into, it’s safe to say that it’s the NX. With the new console expecting to launch this year Nintendo is going to want to put as much money towards the project as they can. More and more details are sure to come out as we slowly approach E3.
