In a large restructuring move, Nintendo of Korea has laid off 80% of its staff. Nearly 50 employees were laid off and only 10 will continue to stay with the company. NoK will relocate to outside of Seoul and Fukuda Hiroyuki will remain the CEO.
The company has seen financial losses over the last four years which ultimately lead to the decision to lay off staff. However, they do still have a number of games planned for Korean gamers including Kirby: Planet Robobot, Hyrule Warriors Legends, and Pokémon Sun & Moon.
