The Pokemon Direct has finally aired and contained a few new details about upcoming Pokemon games.
First up, it has been confirmed that Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon are set to release this year. These are the latest games in the mainline series of Pokemon and will launch worldwide in nine languages, including traditional and simplified Chinese.
It was also announced that the Virtual Console versions of Pokemon Red, Blue, & Yellow will be compatible with Pokemon Bank. This will allow players to transfer their captured Pokemon from the Virtual Console games to Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon. Players can also transfer Pokemon from other games such as Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby, and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.
Pokemon Red, Blue, & Yellow version will be released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop tomorrow.
